The first Josh Crain who contacted me was a Calvinist college student who disagreed with my critiques of Albert Mohler's handling of the Katrina hurricane. This Josh Crain is a tattoo artist from Oklahoma, but I welcomed both emails all the same.
Though a quick look at his site and his myspace account make it quite obvious that we have completely different belief systems, I very much respect the guy's talent and he seems to be an excellent artist who thought it was funny that he had a polar opposite counter-part with the same name.
In response I thanked him for dropping a line and had two questions: 1) how do you practice inking someone without actually using a person? and 2) the first time you draw on a live person, is it a nerve-wracking experience?
If he answers, I'll definitely let you all know. Until then, my wife and I are in the process of moving between apartments right now and I'm a little strapped for time, but I'm looking forward to continuing to flesh out the new site in the near future.
